PA50-2, Proma, dual stagers, clutch springs, stock cdi, stock belt.
Used to do 37 or so from memory. Put it away for a year or two and got it back out this year. After getting blasted at a few rallies, gps'd it and im at a solid 31-32 on a slight downhill.
Made some sharpie marks on the variator, seems like it isn't opening all the way. Weights are good, caps are good / a little bit loose on the weights. Just pulled apart the rear pulley and it didn't look bad but I pulled it apart and cleaned up the followers to be sure. Belt tension at 2mm below. Still 32mph.
I'm a little stumped at this point. Only thing I can think of is lack of power but it accelerates nicely to 31mph.
Big black sharpie is from today post rear pulley cleanup. White paint pen is from a rally, thinking big downhills pushed it further? Wheels spin nicely, tires at 35psi. What am I missing?
