Motobecane two gear clutch (Variator) (no replies)

It engages instantly into second gear as soon as throttle opens. It has been modified with tighter springs and shaved pads but still engages way to early.
Running it with Airsal 75cc/dellorto19mm/cdi le partie. Any ideas?
