Ok, I am stumped on this one. It seems every performance mod I try slows the Grande down. I put on a high flow air box, techno circuit pipe, up jetted the stock 12.12 sha carb, new Malossi toothed belt, ground down the spacer on the front vario and it runs slower with less power off the line than it had stock. It is the 30mph version (stock) and I can only get 23-25mph with the mods? What am I missing? Tried different jets, checked for air leaks, I have good spark. Stumped. I put it back to stock and 30mph no problem with better take off. I like to get 35-40mph. Suggestions?
