hey putting together a mk65 for someone, i knew the cylinder needed a base spacer to raise up the exhaust port to clear the piston crown, but i also noticed the transfers could be lowered at this point, intake looks like its fully opens at tdc.. and the exhaust opens fully at bdc with one spacer and both of the gaskets that come in the airsal kit. i can probably lower the transfers without messing up they're flow.. RIGHT?
also this is a Airsal B 43.5 piston in a Used A Jug, thats no biggy right? seems good to me...
so yeah, im planning to lower the transfers like 1.5mm, and give them more flow/duration unless theres some reason not too..
im putting new points on too, anyone know what ignition timing keeps these kits happy?
