So I hoped the caption would get me some response. I got a 2011 Tomos ST with a hopped up A55. Does 55MPH. It's got a Dellorto PVHA 17.5. My problem is just off idle I have a dead spot right off idle. Where it totally bogs and if i leave it at that spot it will die. Doesn't matter what speed I'm at. I have the stock idle jet and needle valve with the needle at its' lowest position. If I raise it it gets worse. So I ASSUME I need a larger needle valve. Any idea what comes stock with the 17.5mm? I bought it from Dellorto Direct about 3 years ago. It's had the same problem when I ran it on the A55, when it was basically stock, so I pulled it and never messed with it until I added a Estoril sidebleed exhaust and a MLM 18mm intake recently. Now I'm using it again and I still have that dead off idle problem again. I'm running a 88mm main jet which is about to go up to a 90. Is the 14mm PVHA needle the same, 'cause i was thinking about trying that?
