Drilling into the end of nu50 stock muffler for speed (15 replies)

My mechanic advised me to cut off the tip of my NU50's stock muffler and drill directly into it for better airflow. 2 questions.

Will this work?

Do I have to cut the tip off to do it? Can I just drill into the tip with a long bit?
